Mission, Vision, and Goals

Platte River School is a school of choice that provides high school students with an opportunity to pursue their education on an individualized basis.

Platte River School will meet student’s individual needs by providing educational opportunities that focus on student’s individual strengths.  Our students will not only gain academic skills as they achieve their high school diploma, but they will also learn how to be responsible citizens who lead, empower, and inspire.

Platte River School provides an educational community where every student is valued and supported, regardless of their background or individual needs because diversity and inclusion are celebrated. Our staff believe every student deserves to be seen, heard, and understood.   We strive to foster a sense of belonging and community that will help our students develop the confidence and resilience needed for academic, social, and emotional success in school and beyond. Ultimately, Platte River School strives to provide a learning environment that is responsive to each student’s strengths and challenges.  Students will be empowered to take ownership of their education, so they are prepared to become engaged, responsible, and compassionate members of society.
